Eliasberg's Gem Proof 1883 Seated Half
1883 50C PR65 PCGS. Ex: Eliasberg. The obverse is close to brilliant, while pastel tan-gold toning clings to the reverse periphery. The strike is precise aside from a hint of incompleteness on Liberty's forehead curls. Flashy fields and nicely frosted motifs suggest a Cameo designation is due. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 32 in 65, 9 finer (8/08).Ex: Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. Collection (Bowers and Merena, 4/1997).
