1887 Half Dollar, A Stunning Cameoed Gem
1887 50C PR65 Cameo PCGS. While most half dollars are of uniformly high quality in the 1880s, this piece is head and shoulders above others we have seen recently. It is simply outstanding. Both sides are brilliant and the fields show deep reflectivity with thickly frosted devices that give the coin its Cameo designation. Fully struck in all areas.
