Appealing 1891 Half Dollar, PR65
1891 50C PR65 NGC. 1891 marked the last year of Seated Liberty half dollar coinage. Proofs were struck to the tune of 600 pieces, a fair number of which have survived to the present day. This Gem proof is sharply struck and untoned. Its minimally marked surfaces display a degree of field-motif variance. Nice overall appeal.
