Description
1858 Liberty Seated Quarter, PR64 Cameo
1858 25C Quarter PR64 Cameo PCGS. From a tiny mintage of 300 pieces, the 1858 proof Seated Liberty quarter is very rare in Choice condition, with the Cameo designation. The present coin is tied with three other Cameo examples as the finest PCGS has certified within the designation (8/10). The fields are brightly mirrored, and the frosty devices are sharply defined, to produce the dramatic cameo contrast. From The T.W. Brown Collection.(Registry values: P5)
