Splendid 1859 Quarter, PR65 Cameo
1859 25C PR65 Cameo NGC. An extremely difficult proof issue to find, especially with Cameo contrast. This remarkable Gem is untoned with fully mirrored fields and excellent eye appeal. According to the Guide Book, 800 proof quarters were struck in 1959, but the actual number was probably quite a bit less.(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23WL, PCGS# 85555, GSID# 5286)
