    1859 25C PR67 Cameo NGC. Briggs 2-B. Two proof die pairs are recorded in Larry Briggs' Seated quarter reference for the mintage of 800 coins. This second die pair has three prominent die lines extending up from the left base of the rock, nearly reaching the border below star 1. The reverse has QUAR. DOL. recut. This incredible Superb Gem Cameo proof exhibits full silver brilliance with no evidence of toning on either side. The devices are frosty and lustrous within a deeply mirrored frame. All design elements are bold and completely defined. NGC and PCGS have each certified one example as PR67 Cameo with none finer. A remarkable example for the connoisseur. Census: 1 in 67 Cameo, 0 finer (3/11).
