Description
1860 25C PR64 PCGS. CAC. Type Two Obverse. Type One Reverse. The strike is crisp except on the left-side stars. The reflective and unblemished surfaces display rich peach-gold and powder-blue toning. Although 1,000 proofs were struck, a majority did not sell and were eventually melted by the Mint.(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23WM, PCGS# 5556, GSID# 5288)
