Description
1863 25C PR63 NGC. Well struck with deep, watery reflectivity in the charcoal-gray fields, bright silver-gray devices, and unmarked surfaces that exhibit a few crisscrossing striations (as struck) in the reverse fields. A few tiny planchet flaws (as produced) and contact marks are evident, but they hardly seem grade-limiting. Perhaps conservatively graded. Population: 23 in 63, 62 finer (2/05).(#5559) (Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23WR, PCGS# 5559, GSID# 5297)
