1863 25C PR64 Cameo PCGS. The 460-piece mintage of proof quarters in 1863, a partial product of Civil War pressures, has left precious few Cameo specimens to the present day. This near-Gem is high-end among them, lightly toned gold-gray with flashy mirrors undimmed by the patina. A few hairlines are found near the frosted devices. Population: 9 in 64 Cameo, 2 finer (6/10).(Registry values: P3)
