1864 Seated Quarter, PR65
Beautifully Toned and Sharp

1864 25C PR65 PCGS. Briggs 3-C. Attractive ocean-blue, lavender, and golden toning encompasses the mirrored fields of this fully struck Gem proof. The central devices show excellent, glistening luster that would provide a modest cameo effect were it not for the rich old-time patina. The 1864 proof boasts a mintage of only 470 pieces. Gem or better survivors are rare. PCGS Population: 16 in 65, 10 finer (12/25).(Registry values: P3)
