Not Sold Description
1864 PR 66 NGC. An elusive Civil War era issue, one of a mere 470 proofs struck; yet, proofs are more obtainable than the even rarer business strikes. The fields are deep and glassy and both sides are overlaid with rich shadings of red, golden, and cobalt-blue. An outstanding example of this rare issue. Population: 2 in 66, none are finer.
