Description
1865 Quarter, PR65 Cameo
Ex: Bruce Scher
1865 25C PR65 Cameo PCGS Secure. Ex: Bruce Scher. A scant
500 proofs were struck in the final Civil War year, and today only
a handful of finer examples exist at PCGS -- a situation that has
not changed in at least the past 10 years. This exceptional Cameo
proof displays faint champagne toning over deeply mirrored fields
with frost-white central devices. Fully struck, the coin shows only
a few scattered, delicate lines and a pair of tiny lintmarks.
