Description
1868 Seated Quarter, PR66
Reflective Fields Under Blue-Gray Patina
1868 25C PR66 NGC. The general unavailability of business
strikes -- only 29,400 pieces were struck -- adds considerable date
pressure to the 600 proofs produced of the 1868 quarter. The fields
on this example are brightly reflective, a trait abundantly evident
even through the blue-gray toning that covers each side. Census: 11
in 66, 0 finer (7/13).From The Greensboro Collection, Part IV.(Registry values: P2)
