Description
1875 25C PR 62 SEGS. Briggs 4-E. This is a lovely cameo proof that combines a crisp strike, curiously defect-free surfaces (for the assigned grade), and an essentially untoned appearance. For accuracy, we mention light mottled toning over the lower obverse that hardly inhibits the underlying proof qualities. An excellent candidate for the budget-minded type collector.
