Description

1880 Seated Quarter, PR67 Deep Cameo
Registry Example

1880 25C PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS. Briggs 2-B. Type Two Reverse. It is hard to imagine a more splendid example of a Superb Gem proof Seated Liberty quarter than this one. The frosty devices offer fantastic contrast with the deeply mirrored fields. Just a touch of light golden-tan toning occurs in the central part of the obverse main device, and faint speckles of milky coloration are found in the fields. The design elements are exceptionally well struck, and the impeccably preserved surfaces are virtually devoid of any significant blemishes. PCGS Population: 4 in 67 Deep Cameo, 0 finer (3/26).
