Description

Beautifully Toned PR67 1882 Quarter

1882 25C PR67 NGC. The 1882 quarter is one in a long line of low total-mintage issues that begin in 1879 and continue through 1889. This year had only 15,200 strikes for circulation plus 1,100 proofs. This impressive example has spectacular toning. The obverse has a rose-colored center surrounded by blue at the margin. The reverse, on the other hand, displays uniform blue-green toning. The fields are deeply reflective and the surfaces are problem-free, just as one would expect.
