1885 25C PR67 NGC. Briggs 3-B. Ex: Eliasberg. This
attractive Eliasberg example displays champagne toning over its
interior while the exterior reveals sapphire-blue coloration. The
strike is pleasing with no weakness and there are no apparent
abrasions that would demean this piece. NGC has observed a lone
coin numerically finer, though several other examples are
considered finer in Cameo and Ultra Cameo designation (4/26).Ex: Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. Collection (Bowers and Merena, 4/1997), lot 1534.
