1886 25C PR63 Cameo PCGS. Dramatic violet toning encircles the obverse, while the reverse exhibits an attractive ring of russet and lavender in the periphery. The deeply mirrored fields show impressive cameo contrast against the icy-frosted devices. This fully struck piece has only a couple of small blemishes and virtually no marks. A mere 886 proofs were struck. Population: 9 in 63 Cameo, 23 finer (8/08).(Registry values: P1)
