Description
Delightful PR66 Cameo 1886 Quarter
1886 25C PR66 Cameo PCGS. In an amusing coincidence, exactly 886 proof quarters were struck in 1886, a useful trick for remembering the date's mintage. The present Premium Gem is among the best-preserved Cameo survivors of that issue, thickly frosted on the devices with bold reflectivity and just a hint of golden color on the reverse. Several narrow, elongated planchet flaws are visible in the obverse fields.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23XJ, PCGS# 85587, GSID# 5370)
