Superb Gem PR67 1889 Quarter
Exceptional Toning
1889 25C PR67 NGC. Rarely seen as a business strike, the
proofs are only marginally more available of the 1889 with 711
pieces struck. This is a lovely piece that has brightly mirrored
fields and subtle blue and rose shadings on each side. A convincing
case could be made that this coin is a cameo, but the toning
partially subdues the effect. Census: 8 in 67, 2 finer
