    Boldly Toned PR68 ★ 1889 Quarter

1889 25C PR68 ★ NGC. CAC. NGC records show a total of six "certification events" for the 1889 quarter in PR68, with no coins numerically finer regardless of contrast status; those six coins are divided into two PR68, two PR68 , one PR68 Cameo, and one PR68 Ultra Cameo, with unknown levels of duplication (11/12). This magnificently toned and semicontrasted PR68 specimen has gleaming fields, distinctly frosted devices, and eye-catching overtones with pale green-gold outer field toning that gives way to aquamarine and light blue-green hues at the centers. Stunningly preserved.(Registry values: P1)
