Description
Untoned 1891 Quarter
PR64 Deep Cameo
1891 25C PR64 Deep Cameo PCGS. The 1891 quarter saw 600
proofs made, a goodly number of which have apparently survived to
the present day, at least according to the PCGS and NGC
population/census data. Deep/Ultra Cameos are an entirely different
story, as the two services have seen a mere 13 pieces, to date.
This near-Gem exhibits frosty, well struck motifs that appear to
glide over deep watery fields. A few minor handling marks do not
disturb. Population: 4 in 64 Deep Cameo, 7 finer (12/08).(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23XP, PCGS# 95592, GSID# 5386)
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
Weight: 6.25 grams
ASW: 0.18085oz
