    Description

    Brilliant Cameo Gem 1891 Quarter

1891 25C PR65 Cameo NGC. Thickly frosted legends and devices suggest an Ultra Cameo designation, which NGC has conservatively omitted. A brilliant and pinpoint-sharp Gem whose single imperfection is a minute spot near the C in AMERICA. A scant 600 proofs were coined for the final year of the long-lived Seated motif.

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
