    Description

    1891 Quarter, PR67
    Two-Sided Toning Palette

1891 25C PR67 NGC. This last-year Superb Gem Seated quarter proof is a tale of two sides, warm sunset-orange, pale blue, and rose tones contrasting against cool mint and aqua tones on the reverse. We are surprised that this piece lacks the Star designation for superior eye appeal. The strike is quite sharp, just short of full. Census: 14 in 67, 4 finer (10/13).(Registry values: P1)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23XP, PCGS# 5592)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
