Description

1937 Five-Piece Proof Set, PR64-PR67 NGC. Ex: Highland Collection. The coins are housed in individual holders with consecutive certification numbers. Included are:

Cent PR64 Red and Brown. CAC. A sharp, glimmering copper-orange near-Gem that displays only a faint hint of amber toning, showing what many collectors would consider to be full red surfaces.

Nickel PR67. The highest-graded coin in this set, the Buffalo nickel is sharp and virtually flawless, showing rainbow border toning and light blue interiors.

Dime PR66. CAC. This deeply mirrored Premium Gem proof is nearly brilliant but shows a faint dusting of tan-gold color in select areas. The sharpness and eye appeal are outstanding.

Quarter PR65. The devices are satiny and the fields show deep mirroring. Neither side exhibits significant toning, although the purist will notice a faint champagne tint.

Half Dollar PR65. The champagne-tinted surfaces, deep mirrors, and excellent preservation are virtually identical to the quarter dollar. The obverse has some barely perceptible cameo contrast.
