Description

1892 Dime PR 66 NGC. An exquisite first-year issue and easily one of the most remarkably toned Barber dimes we have seen in some time. Reddish-brown toning hugs the devices with sea-green peripheral color and two bright windows of dazzling brilliance above and below the denomination on the reverse. We see only two surface defects, one being a tiny, round planchet flaw below the point of the chin, and the other a diagonal planchet streak next to the I in DIME.

Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 7440)
