    1885 Seven-Piece Proof Set

1885 Proof Set. All of the issues from this year, except for the Bland-Allison driven Morgan dollar, saw lower business strike mintages, increasing their desirability as proofs. Included in this predominantly choice set are:
Indian Cent PR 65 Red and Brown PCGS. Bright rose and green-gold iridescence adorns the obverse.
Three-Cent Nickel PR 65 PCGS. Splendid bluish pastels in the fields.
Liberty Nickel PR 63 PCGS. Apricot toning covers approximately half of each side, with a few wispy hairlines to the left of the portrait limiting the grade.
Seated Liberty Dime PR 63 PCGS. An untoned cameo that is quite nice for the assigned grade.
Seated Liberty Quarter PR 66 PCGS. Both sides of this superlative specimen are layered in steel-violet, gold, and lavender hues, with an abundant amount of blue-green iridescence at the borders.
Seated Liberty Half-Dollar PR 64 PCGS. Original and only minimally hairlined, with golden centers giving way to a crescent of blue on the obverse and a complete encirclement of blue and rose-violet on the reverse.
Morgan Dollar PR 60 PCGS. Hairlined and a trifle hazy in the fields, with a modest cameo effect.
