1890 Six-Piece Year Set
1890 Year Set. The dime in this reasonably well preserved fivesome is a mint state coin, while the balance are proofs. Included are:Indian Cent PR 64 Red and Brown PCGS. Rich orange color with hints of rose on the portrait.
Liberty Nickel PR 63 PCGS. A little hazy in the fields, but still with noticeable two-toned qualities.
Seated Liberty Dime MS 61 PCGS. A trifle soft in places with golden and steel-blue accents.
Seated Liberty Quarter PR 61 PCGS. Stark contrast between the mirrored fields and chalky devices, but noticeably hairlined in the obverse field. Golden-violet peripheral color.
Seated Liberty Half-Dollar PR 61 PCGS. Brilliant or nearly so and displaying intense cameo contrast.
Morgan Dollar PR 62 PCGS. Faint slidemarks on the heavily frosted portrait and what appears to be glue residue at the base of the reverse. A very flashy proof Morgan for its modest grade.
