1914 Proof Set. After Archduke Francis Ferdinand of Austria was assassinated in Sarajevo, one country after another upheld its mutual treaty obligations and Europe fell into the bloodiest war in history, The Great War. A memento from that landmark year, this set is modestly graded except for its gem nickel, but has the brilliant look that so many people seem to prefer today. Includes:
Lincoln Cent PR 60 Cleaned, Uncertified. Looks better than the grade indicates.
Buffalo Nickel PR 65 PCGS. Steel-gray with orange-gold accents.
Barber Dime PR 63 PCGS. Mostly brilliant.
Barber Quarter PR 62 PCGS. Brilliant with a deep cameo.
Barber Half Dollar PR 62 PCGS. Mostly brilliant with some gold overtones.
