Description
Uncertified Proof Sets Housed in Plastic Holders. The 1953 set grades PR60-PR65 with delicate, mottled toning on the Nickel and silver coins; there are a few spots on the reverse of the Quarter. All coins in the 1954 set grade PR64, PR65, or PR66 and, once again, delicate iridescent overtones are seen on most examples. There is a second 1954 set that includes coins whose grades range from PR65 through PR66; the Nickel is golden tinged and the silver coins are peripherally patinated. Finally, there is a 1955 set that is similar in technical quality and appearance to the second 1954 set.Auction Info
