Cameo Gem Proof 1866 Rays Nickel
1866 5C Rays PR65 Cameo NGC. A flashy Gem that has a hint of caramel-gold toning across the softly brought-up reverse. Both sides are void of marks or hairlines. Since the 1867 Rays proof is a famous rarity, the 1866 is requisite for a proof type set. Although business strike production was substantial, only 600+ proofs were coined.
