1866 5C Rays PR66 Cameo NGC. The first-year of issue for the five-cent nickel denomination, this spectacular piece will appeal to type collectors and series specialists. A lovely Premium Gem Cameo proof, this light gray specimen has excellent contrast between its deeply mirrored fields and lustrous devices. Hints of pale blue-violet toning appears on both sides. Census: 27 in 66 Cameo, 8 finer (8/13).(Registry values: N4719)
