Description
PCGS 1866 Rays PR 66. First year of issue and a low mintage proof type coin with an official (but apparently incorrect) mintage of only 125 proofs. This is a lovely toned coin that shows nicely mirrored fields and problem-free surfaces throughout. Rare and desirable because of the brevity of the type as well as the low mintage. Population: 12 in 66, none finer.
