Description
PCGS 1866 Rays PR 64. First year of issue and always a popular type coin, whether found as a business strike or proof. Very few proofs were minted, but official mint records appear to be in error on the actual number produced. This piece is nicely mirrored and shows even gray patina over both sides with faint undertones of rose and olive-green.
