Beautiful 1866 Rays Nickel in PR 67
1866 Rays PR 67 NGC. First year of issue for the Shield nickel design and, although scarce as a proof, the officially recorded mintage of 125 pieces is obviously well below the actual production. This is an amazing, deeply reflective specimen that is considerably enhanced by concentric shades of ice-blue, orange, and rose toning on each side.
