1867 No Rays Shield Nickel, PR66 Cameo
Tied for Finest at PCGS
1867 5C No Rays PR66 Cameo PCGS. Deeply mirrored surfaces
display a golden-ivory sheen and contrast boldly with the frosted
devices. A bit of haziness surrounds the 5, but the depth of the
mirrors is otherwise unaffected on both sides. A tiny lint mark
above the E in STATES is microscopic and does not detract from the
tremendous eye appeal. The star centers and all devices are
razor-sharp. A scarce proof in Premium Gem Cameo, and seldom seen
