1869 5C PR67 NGC. The 1869 is a moderately scarce proof
Shield nickel date with a mintage around 600 pieces. Even though
the insert does not specify the coin is a Cameo, there is moderate
contrast between the fields and devices on each side. The surfaces
are mostly untoned with only faint specks of lint struck into the
planchet, and visible only with magnification. The reverse stars
lack absolute completeness of definition. Census: 4 in 67, 0 finer
