1870 5C PR66 PCGS. CAC. Pastel caramel-gold, rose-red, and olive-green visit this boldly struck and satiny Premium Gem. The exemplary surfaces are free from hairlines and virtually devoid of carbon. Much scarcer than implied by the mintage of 1,000 pieces, since unsold sets were melted. Population: 4 in 66, 0 finer (11/08).
