Description

Cameo 1871 Shield Nickel, PR65
Dazzling Surfaces

1871 5C Nickel PR65 Cameo PCGS. As with the other coins in this 1871 set, the nickel is also brilliant. Not only is it brilliant, but the fields are deeply mirrored and the devices show noticeable mint frost, which yields the desired Cameo designation. The only interruption in the surfaces are a few lint marks that were struck into the surface of the coin at the time of manufacture. Population: 19 in 65 Cameo, 10 finer (8/10).
