Description
1872 5C PR64 NGC. This is a lovely, frosty, essentially untoned near-Gem, with pleasing light olive-gray toning and well preserved surfaces that only display one or two small contact marks. A wispy die crack (as struck) extends across the lower obverse, and a small lintmark (as produced) rests on the upper reverse, between the O in OF and the closest star beneath it.(#3826) (Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 276N, PCGS# 3826, GSID# 2910)
