Description

1872 5C PR66 PCGS. FS-101. The obverse is nicely die doubled, most noticeably on the annulet, cross, and leaves. Fully struck with even olive-gold coloration and expertly preserved surfaces. A few tiny planchet flaws (as struck) on the reverse should not be confused with handling marks.
Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 12/2005), lot 279.
