Description
1873 5C Closed 3 PR64 PCGS. Deep plum, sky-blue, and rose toning appears in a variegated fashion on each side of this crisply produced proof Shield nickel. The fields are highly reflective, and surface flaws are minimal. An interesting lint mark, shaped like an upside-down letter "V", rests adjacent to the upper left edge of the denominational number 5 on the reverse.From The Madison Collection.(Registry values: N991)
