1874 5C PR 66 NGC. As far as proofs go, this is a date that seems to have a high survival rate until one reaches the PR 66 class. NGC has certified only 20 pieces in PR 66, with 2 higher, and one would have a difficult task locating a finer coin than this example. Unfathomably deep mirrors are complemented by dazzling luster and brilliance. A condition rarity and a supreme example of a proof Shield nickel.
