1875 5C PR65 NGC. From an estimated mintage of 700 pieces, the 1875 proof Shield nickel is quite scarce at the Gem level. The present coin is an attractive Gem, with razor-sharp devices and light gold toning. The mirrored fields are just a little hazy.
