1875 Shield Nickel, PR65
Beautifully Toned
1875 5C PR65 PCGS. JD-3, R.4. Peach-gold centers are framed
by powder-blue and cherry-red borders. This magnificently toned and
fully struck Gem appears devoid of carbon and contact. A slender
strike-through crosses the leaf cluster near 9 o'clock. JD-3 is the
scarcest proof marriage for the date, and is attributed by a lapped
