Elusive Contrasted Example
1877 5C PR65 Cameo PCGS. This Gem Cameo displays greater
field reflectivity than many other proof 1877 Shield nickels that
we have seen, providing modest contrast on each side. The strike is
sharp, and a few scattered flecks are all that merit mention. Light
golden toning covers each side. The 1877 was struck only in proof
