Rare With CAC Approval in This Grade
1877 5C PR65 PCGS. CAC. Shield nickels were only struck in
proof format in 1877, with a mintage of just 900 pieces. This issue
is essential for a complete date set, and high-end examples are
often difficult to locate. This Gem example displays a sharp strike
and modestly reflective surfaces, with delicate lilac toning. No
distracting marks are seen. A rarity in this grade with CAC
