1877 5C PR66 Cameo NGC. Among the most challenging of the proof Shield nickel issues, the proof-only 1877 has an estimated mintage that is slightly greater than 510 pieces. This crisply detailed and carefully preserved piece offers strong reflectivity and a measure of contrast between the green-gold fields and the largely untoned devices.
