Proof-Only Key Issue
1877 5C PR66+ Cameo PCGS. CAC. The Shield nickel was only
struck in proof format in 1877, when a meager mintage of 900 pieces
was accomplished. High-grade specimens with cameo contrast are
quite elusive. This delightful Plus-graded Premium Gem exhibits
sharply detailed, frosty design elements that contrast boldly with
