1877 5C PR66 Cameo PCGS. The Shield nickel was only struck in proof format in 1877, when a modest mintage of 900 pieces was struck to satisfy collector demand. This spectacular Premium Gem exhibits sharply detailed, frosty design elements that contrast boldly with the deeply reflective fields. The surfaces are well-preserved, with outstanding eye appeal.
